How to Download Backup of Home Directory, MySQL, or Email Only

Backing up is important, and you should do it regularly. Follow this tutorial to make a full backup of your website with cPanel. Log in to your cPanel account. In the Files section, click on Backup Wizard. Under Backup or Restore, click on Back Up. Under Select Partial Backup. choose one of the available backup options to create and download a backup of it. To download a Home Directory backup, click on Home Directory. Now, click on Download.

How to Generate and Download a Full Backup of Your cPanel Account

Backing up is important, and you should do it regularly. Follow this tutorial to make a full backup of your website with cPanel. Log in to your cPanel account. In the Files section, click on Backup. Under Full Backup, click on Download a Full Website backup. From the drop-down menu, select the backup destination as Home and enter your email address in the email field to receive a notification when the backup is complete. After the cPanel backup is finished, you will receive a notification. You can download backups from Backup > Download a Full Account Backup.

How to Restore Partial Backups in cPanel

You can easily restore a cPanel partial backup. Please, note that restoring such a backup will overwrite your existing data. Log in to your cPanel account. In the Files section, click on Backup Wizard. Under Backup/Restore, click on Restore. Under Select Restore Type, choose the appropriate option. Click on Browse. Select the backup file from your computer and click on Upload.

How to Generate a cPanel Backup and Send it to FTP

Backing up is important, and you should do it regularly. Log in to your cPanel account. In the Files section, click on Backup. Under Full Backup, click on Download a Full Website Backup. Under Generate a Full Backup, enter the following details: Backup Destination: Select the Backup destination to Remote FTP Server. Email: Enter your email address. Remote Server: FTP IP address or FTP domain name such as ftp.example.com. Remote User: Your FTP Username. Remote Password: Your FTP Password. Port: 21 or other FTP Port. Remote Dir: Remote Directory such as /home/username/backupfolder/. Once you fill in the Remote FTP details, click on Generate Backup.
